Earlier this month, the Northern Irish Housing Executive launched with SignLive to allow Deaf customers to contact them via an interpreter.
BSL users can call the Housing Executive directly from the SignLive Community Directory for free. You can call to: discuss your tenancy; access advice and support on your housing situation; report a repair; receive grants assistance and more.
As well as being able to offer online BSL interpreting, in a first for us, we are also able to offer Irish Sign Language interpreting. If you are an ISL user you can pre-book an interpreter to speak to the Housing Executive at the following link: http://signlive.co.uk/nihe/.
ISL interpreters are available Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm.
